This complete website features custom design using XHTML and table-less CSS. Site features the following custom built applications: Content management system with complete admin back end, several calculators, message board tickers using the GD library, user generated polls, AJAX based baby names search engine, member-based baby photo contest, interactive pregnancy calendar, vBulletin hacks for front end and back end functionality. CMS and member-based tools are integrated with vBulletin message board program. BarVacancy is a website that allows employers of bars to post jobs and persons looking for jobs to post their CVs or resumes. The existing script was a bare bones script without a user control panel for CV posters to login and update their CVs. BC Interactive Media programmed a user registration system and control panel using PHP with a MySQL backend allowing users to update their CVs and contact information.

In addition, the website originally was not coded using XHTML, and did not look the same in both IE and Firefox. BC Interactive Media converted the existing html css code to W3C compliant XHTML Strict, table less css design using existing design.

PHP Scripting Includes:

Convert “Post Your CV” script to a user registration system
Email Confirmation and welcome emails sents with login details.

User control panel for users to update their CVs
Added ability to edit and delete CV's in existing admin control panel.

Pingler.com is a service for webmasters to submit their domains to be pinged to ping service online. Client needed to have a custom script developed to allow for premium paid accounts allowing customers to submit a pre-determined number of domains and have the domains pinged automatically via a cron script. Programming was completed using PHP with a MySQL backend.

The client wanted to add a new feature into his existing user control panel of the vBulletin message board program. This hack allows members to add their Mario Kart Wii friend codes into their member account. If a member wants to race at the Nintendo game site online, they can update their racing status and other identifiable information via their user control panel. Their interest in racing is listed on the board’s home page where other members can chose to race with them at mariokartwii.com. Friend codes are also displayed on a user’s message board posts, and on their profiles. And an XML import file to allow the administrator of the site to instantly install all the hack pieces into the message board program.

The client needed to have his existing member registration integrated with the vBulletin message board user login and registration. A PHP / mySQL script was developed to import existing users into the vBulletin user tables. Another script allows for one registration page, which adds the user to both the existing user tables and vBulletin user tables as well as send automatic welcome emails and account activation codes. A login script allows members to login to both the existing site and the message boards.

Voshy.com is an online funny videos website The client needed to have the video player show related video images and links to users when each video finished playing. Using an dynamic XML play list, PHP / MySQL and JavaScript was used to display the thumbnail of he videos as well as the title, ratings, and number of views.

In addition, each category page needed the dynamic page navigation fixed using XHTML and CSS to display properly in all browsers.

The client requested a 100% W3C validated table-less xhtml strict css design for a new job site for employers in the crew jobs fields to post jobs, and potential employees to post their resumes using the existing jobs site he had for barvacancy.com. However the programs for the site did not work correctly. The JavaScript function allowing for automatic select field updating for countries, states, and cities did not work. In addition all pages where a form was submitted the user would be presented with a separate error page losing all information submitted. Additional categories added to the site would have to be manually added to the templates.
